About the Jejuri Khandoba Darshan from Shirdi
Jejuri is the hilltop fort-temple of Lord Khandoba (Malhari Martand), the kuldaivat of many Maharashtrian families. Devotees shower bhandara – turmeric powder – so freely that the whole hill glows gold, giving it the name 'Sonyachi Jejuri'.
A climb of a couple of hundred steps leads to the main temple. Combine it with Morgaon, the first Ashtavinayak, which is close by.
